Unusual Heat is widely regarded as the leading sire in the history of California Thoroughbred Racing and has $2.4 Million in earnings to
date  in 2014. He finished 2013 as the leading stallion in the state of California with progeny earnings over $4.9 million and 2013 marked his
6th consecutive sire earnings championship (2008-2013). He is the only California stallion with at least $4 million in earnings in 6 different
years doing it consecutively (2008-2013). He also finished 2013 by winning his 10th consecutive California Sire Turf Earnings
Championship.  Unusual Heat finished 2008 by setting an all time California record for progeny earnings with
$5,827,513, and in 2009
became only the 2nd stallion in California history to have progeny earnings of over $5 million twice in a single year.  He holds 3 of the Top 5
All Time California Stallion Earnings Seasons along with 6 of the Top 9. For his career he's sired horses with combined progeny earnings of
over $44.0 Million, and is the all time leading sire in California in terms of progeny turf earnings.
