Unusual Heat is the leading stallion in the state of California in 2010 and finished
2009 with progeny earnings of over $5.1 Million to win his second consecutive sire
earnings championship. He finished 2008 by setting an all time California record for
progeny earnings with $5,827,513, and in 2009 became only the 2nd stallion in
California history to have progeny earnings of over $5 million twice in a single year.
He is the sire of Grade 1 and multiple stakes champion The Usual Q.T., Grade 1
winner Golden Doc A, Grade 2 winner, multiple stakes winning and California
Champion filly Lethal Heat, Grade 2 and multiple stakes victor Pretty Unusual, Grade
3 winners Lightmyfirebaby and Unusual Suspect, California Cup Classic Champion
Mr. Chairman, Bel Air Sizzle-Grade 1 placed and a multiple stakes winner, the rising
Beltene, hard knocking Flashover, the explosive Medzendeekron, the up and coming

Unusual Heat is owned by a syndicate headed by longtime business partners Barry
Abrams and Madeline Auerbach. He stands at Old English Rancho in Sanger,
