Unusual Heat is the leading stallion in the state of California in 2010 with progeny
earnings over $3.0 million, and finished 2009 with progeny earnings of over $5.1
Million to win his second consecutive sire earnings championship. He finished 2008
by setting an all time California record for progeny earnings with $5,827,513, and in
2009 became only the 2nd stallion in California history to have progeny earnings of
over $5 million twice in a single year. For his career he's sired horses with combined
progeny earnings of over $26.0 Million.
He is the sire of multiple Grade 1 winner and California Champion The Usual Q.T.,
Grade 1 and Grade 2 winning marathon turf star Acclamation, Grade 1 winner
Golden Doc A, Grade 2 winner, multiple stakes winning and 2 time California
Champion filly Lethal Heat, Grade 2 and multiple stakes victor Pretty Unusual, Grade
3 winners Lightmyfirebaby and Unusual Suspect, California Cup Classic Champion
Mr. Chairman, Bel Air Sizzle-Grade 1 placed and a multiple stakes winner, the rising

Unusual Heat is owned by a syndicate headed Madeline Auerbach in conjunction
with trainer Barry Abrams. He stands at Harris Farms in Coalinga, California and
had a stud fee of $20,000.00 for 2010. A waiting list for Unusual Heat's 2011
