Who is Unusual Heat? He is a big, beautiful, black 21 year old stallion who stands at Harris Farms in Coalinga,
California. He was a fine racehorse who has had an even better career as a stallion.

Acclamation- 2011 Eclipse Award Champion

A cclamation wins the 2011 Eclipse Award for Older Male Horse. He also finishes 2nd for Horse of the Year and Turf Horse of The Year. The 6 year
old bay horse is owned by Buddy and Judy Johnston and The Hilvers Family. He is trained by Don Warren and was bred and raised at Johnston's
Old English Rancho in Sanger, CA. Acclamation becomes the first Unusual Heat to win an Eclipse Award and the first by a California Sire to do so
since Tiznow did in 2002. Acclamation is currently in training at Santa Anita Park for a full 2012 campaign.
Acclamation, Burns and Mensa Heat among the leading candidates for 2011 CTBA California Bred Awards. Acclamation is a finalist for Older Male,
Turf Horse and will be in the running for Horse of the Year. Burns is a finalist for both 3 Year Old Male and Turf Horse while Mensa Heat appears on
the ballot for Older Horse and Sprinter. The Awards Ceremony will be held on February 13, 2012 at The Westin Pasadena.
Mensa Heat with another stakes placing finishing 3rd in the Grade 2 Palos Verdes Handicap on the wet dirt at Santa Anita Park (January 21, 2012).
The Usual Q.T. looks good and is a game 3rd in the Grade 2 San Gabriel Stakes at Santa Anita (January 16, 2012), his first race since May 2011.
Unusual Heat once again wins the California Sire Earnings and California Bred Sire Championships as he tops the $4 Million in progeny earnings
for 2011. He becomes the only California based stallion to do it in 4 different years, achieving both feats consecutively from 2008-2011.
